About Cyberfield

yberfield Sdn. Bhd. was founded in 1995 by a group of information technology professionals to realize the opportunity that the growing emergence of the Internet at that time heralded for businesses and organizations in Malaysia.

Being one of the 1st Internet companies in Southern Malaysia, Cyberfield quickly set a mark to be one of the leading Internet and Technology companies in Johor. Establishing one of the first Johor-based commercial internet hosting facilities with 'class-c network capacity', Cyberfield successfully secured several of the early internet presence development contracts which include the development of the first Johor State Government website and the development of the Johor computer unit's web hosting and email infrastructure.

With a focus on research and development, Cyberfield went on to develop and market several web-based applications including one of the 1st web-camera applications in Malaysia, a web-communication and collaboration suite as well as a locally engineered web-based mail application. Its research and development effort was given international recognition in 1997 when Oriental Assemblers Sdn. Bhd. in collaboration with Honda Motors selected Cyberfield over international software developers to implement a Electronic Torque Management System for the assembly of Honda CRV vehicles in Malaysia.

The emergence of e-commerce and usage of the internet as a business medium in 1998 was seen by Cyberfield as a tremendous growth opportunity. To leverage on this, Cyberfield launched a Internet Incubation Program that targeted to build internet-based technology and applications in focused vertical markets that was envisioned to evolve into global businesses.
